Safari Discs was established in 2020 with the aim of becoming the premier supplier of disc golf discs and associated equipment and gear to the South African disc golf scene.

Safari Discs was founded by Bart Meulenbeld (2020 SA Open Disc Golf Champion) and his son Alex Meulenbeld, the 2021, 2022 and 2023 SA Open Disc Golf Champion. Bart is the PDGA’s Country Coordinator for South Africa.

Bart & Alex are also the reigning 2024 SA Doubles Champions.
